Nine million lei for the promotion of exports in the food sector

In 2019, the Romanian food sector will be allocated almost 9 million lei, out of a total of 70 million lei in commitment credits intended for all sectors of the national economy, an amount dedicated to the promotion of exports during international exhibition events, announced in 6 June, the president of the Association for the Promotion of Romanian Food (APAR), Ştefan Pădure. In this context, added the president of APAR, only the participation in Anuga, a reference fair for the food and beverage industry, will cost one million euros. The participation in Anuga is currently in the acquisition procedure. "We will have 1.000 square meters and 74 Romanian producers", said Pădure.

On the other hand, APAR, within the project "Elaboration of an alternative public policy in the field of promotion of Romanian exports", organized, between May and June 2019, in Sinaia, Predeal and Venus, a series of workshops where effective tools were presented through which food industry producers can promote products for export. "By entering the European Union and through the internationalization program, we must understand to be present at as many events as possible organized outside the country, we must take advantage of this wave. If, following the accession to the European Union, players from the Western market entered our market, we had to do the exact same thing. Unfortunately, we stopped here and started a fierce battle with the competition", the president of APAR opined during the workshop organized in Predeal. The workshops brought together representatives from over 50 companies, and from the bakery-pastry field, the following were present: Agrosemcu, Boromir Ind, Croco, Grande Dolceria, Germino, Natural, Novita Impex, Pambac, Piccolo Angelo, Tual Fast Chance '98.
