• Kornfeil's EkoBlok heat recovery systems can reuse approximately 240 Kw/h, which means approximately 200 lei/h, translating into an annual savings of nearly 1.400.000 lei. Kornfeil's EcoBlok system captures the energy from the flue gases and transforms it into domestic hot water and heating agent for heating the bakery.
In addition to manufacturing bakery ovens, it is actively involved in projects to save the energy needed in the baking process. This goal can be achieved in two ways. The first way is to reduce production costs using cutting-edge technologies that continuously monitor both the efficient use of primary energy for baking and steam production. The second option is to use residual energy from gas and steam emissions that are captured and processed by heat recovery systems EkoBlok, technology developed by Kornfeil.
High-performance system for maximum use of residual heat
How can efficiency be increased in the bakery technological process, without energy loss? With the help of EkoBlok waste heat recovery systems, you not only save 25% of the energy needed for the baking process, while controlling the emission of steam and waste gases, but you also get an ecological bakery. In a nutshell, the EkoBlok acts as a catalyst, capturing heat and retaining slurries that would otherwise have been released on the chimneys. By connecting the flue gas and steam exhausts from the furnaces to the EkoBlok, the costs needed to install the chimneys are significantly reduced, as it has a unique exhaust.
Why choose the systems EkoBlok – Kornfeil?
EkoBlok is an ecological system for the complete use and processing of polluting energy from flue gases and steam from gas and oil bakery ovens, as well as from steam and thermal oil boilers.
The residual energy passed through the EkoBlok systems is transformed into hot water (approximately 80°C), reducing the pollution of the flue gases and the CO2 emissions produced by the individual furnaces, thus protecting the environment.
Use of residual energy
Residual energy for heating produced by EkoBlok – Kornfeil systems is used for obtaining technological and utility water, heating the bakery, preheating water for steam production.
This residual energy processed by EkoBlok systems can also be used for another purpose. Passed through a cooling process from 80°C to about 8-10°C it can then be used to lower the air temperature in the work space and/or to cool bakery products.
