• CEPI systems are "turnkey" solutions for the milling and bakery industry that allow the creation of automatic production lines.
• They are developed following rigorous research respecting the company's vision, focused on technology, flexibility and customization.
After spectacular growth over the past decade, CEPI has built a new unit which tripled the company's production area to a total of 15.000 m², with a 13.000 m² factory, the rest being dedicated to offices. The new headquarters also includes a 240 m² prototype development and testing room equipped with metrology equipment, reflecting CEPI's dedication to research. Thus, more tests can be carried out in the new premises and more support can be provided for customers in the food industry.

CEPI systems are "turnkey", which has an important meaning for the company. From technological diversity to customized innovation taking into account customer requirements, from equipment for storing large volumes of raw materials to dosing, CEPI aims to offer systems that can be managed in total independence once put into operation.
Custom testing
"In the test room, our customers will be able to perform dosing and transport tests directly on their materials. We also plan to develop system-wide prototypes. With prototypes always available, we will be able to test an ever wider range of materials. The dosage ingredients in micro volume, for example, often includes new products or food mixes, and the impact of the equipment on their characteristics is unknown, which requires testing under controlled conditions.”
This is the case of mixes for special diet foods such as gluten-free, or in the case of artificial resins and pigments. In the confectionery sector it is important to test any product with a high percentage of fat, such as whole milk and powdered butter.
"For us, customization and innovation are closely related to each other. Our research is often driven by the specific needs that each food manufacturer communicates to us: the latest dosing station 3 IN 1 (combining weighing, mixing and direct pneumatic line loading) was developed in response to a customer's need to optimize their production area. We are able to provide turnkey systems because our technological range is unmatched."

What is a turnkey system?
Such a system is a solution that makes the user independent. What does this mean in practice? First, the technological process is covered in its entirety, from storage to dosing of ingredients. Second, the technology offering must be diversified to be able to support all the materials and processes that the user wants to include, without having to involve another supplier.
Therefore, the provider of such a solution must possess all the necessary skills to design, build and commission the system. Last but not least, the system must provide the data related to its operations. CEPI was founded and grew around the idea of being a systems provider "turn key". The benefits for the customer are obvious. He will use a custom system that has been designed to meet his specific needs. CEPI automates and optimizes production, allowing the beneficiary to develop in a modular way without disturbing the technological process.

This means that a manufacturer in the milling and baking sector will not have to adapt to a prefabricated solution, but rather the opposite happens. Beyond the obvious cost-cutting considerations, working with a single supplier also means that they know the system they designed, built and put into operation intimately.
Each ingredient brings new specific challenges. Fats, milk derivatives and creams require temperature management in both storage and dosing, while hygroscopic materials such as sugar and salt require air dehumidification. Viscous ingredients require specific transport and dosing methods. A partner like CEPI will be able to identify all these needs and provide the necessary solutions. Above all, these issues will be managed organically, coordinating complex processes in the most efficient way.
Adapted projects

"At CEPI, we consider each facility unique. Everyone has their own story. This is the heart of the turnkey system: the open dialogue and permanent exchange of information with the customer, which brings important benefits to both parties. If the customer wishes, based on our experience and understanding of his specific technological process, CEPI can propose the optimization of the entire process. This is the case with a recent collaboration where we devised a solution for the inclusion and efficient dosing of fruit and chocolate in a biscuit line, all without altering the authentic flavor of their product.”
A turnkey system is a system that manages all processes from storage up to dosage. CEPI systems are able to do this for all materials, in addition to providing tracking of all ingredients and providing data related to the manufacturing process.

"We are able to offer an integrated and fully traceable system that allows food operators to always have production under control. Our software provides complete control over the technological process. Our customers get a complete picture of the production process in real time: we offer them the history of storage and dosing operations, consumption statistics, reports, stock display and dynamic graphics. All of our data can be easily integrated with your global ERP or MES to achieve full organization-wide traceability. Our process control software is available and the information can be immediately accessed by the user, who can use it as they prefer.”
High performance systems
The collection, storage and provision of technological process data is essential for a healthy system, enabling traceability and guaranteeing food safety. "With the help Our Tracking System, it is possible to quickly carry out mass production balances, control consumption, generate information for Quality Control and Purchases, create projections of future productions and optimize the ongoing process."
