Behind this sensory experience lies an exceptional collaboration between Panner and Nova Pan, the official distributor of Ciam equipment in Romania. The Italian company Ciam Spa, a world leader in custom-designed refrigeration solutions, supplied three modular display cases from the Ciam series for this location. Flat TS – an eloquent example of how advanced technology can support both the impeccable preservation of products and the sophisticated aesthetics of a premium space.
Flat TS display cases (Flat being the specific model, and TS representing the type of glass on the top) installed at Maison Finesse are positive temperature models with specific and ambient humidity, built with UV glued sides, a technique that ensures a perfectly flat appearance and maximum transparency, without visible profiles that distract attention from the products. The work surface and the upper border are made of the premium material GRES DIAMOND CREAM, a engineered stone with elegant shades and superior resistance, perfectly integrated into the modern design of the Panner Maison Finesse pastry shop, located in the historic center of Brașov.
The display plan is electrostatically finished in the matte RAL 7024 (ORO RICCO PALLIDO) shade, which gives a minimalist and contemporary air, in harmony with the visual identity of the location.
Flat Series from Ciam Spa
The Flat series by Ciam is a modular solution designed specifically for top confectioneries, patisseries and gelaterias. Available in various lengths (900–3000 mm), three depths (625, 800 or 1000 mm) and multiple types of glass fronts (up to 16 variants), the Flat TS display cases stand out for their coplanar design with the worktop – an essential feature for the fluidity of the serving space.
The soft-ventilated refrigeration system with oversized evaporator maintains a high internal humidity, ideal for preserving the freshness of fine cakes, macarons, single-portion cakes or chocolate, without drying out the surface of the products. The ecological R290 gas integrated into the compact hermetically insulated unit ensures low energy consumption and minimal environmental impact, while the NoFog technology (optionally available on 8 mm pyrolytic glass) completely eliminates fogging, even in high humidity conditions.
The standard lighting for these display cases (eliminated from the project made for Panner) is provided by diffused LED strips with a color temperature of 3000 K, discreetly integrated into the aluminum profiles, which highlight the colors and textures of the products without generating excessive heat. Control panel touch and the digital thermometer embedded in the countertop provides precise and intuitive monitoring, and the PETG sliding doors with perimeter seals ensure the perfect tightness of the refrigerated compartments. All visible components can be customized – from natural stone or Corian finishes to galvanic or epoxy powder treatments –, allowing for perfect integration into any interior design concept.
Dedicated customization
It is worth noting that Ciam display cases can be fully customized depending on the architect's requests or the beneficiary's preferences. Both the design and functionality can be adapted so that they integrate perfectly into the concept of the location.
Custom refrigerated back elements can also be created, finished in the same color code, depending on the specific needs of the space. These can include refrigerated cones for displaying and storing cakes, refrigerated drawers for bar ingredients, custom body for the coffee espresso machine, as well as dedicated areas for storing refrigerated products.
