• On Friday, February 28, 2025, the Faculty of Food and Tourism of Transilvania University of Brașov hosted an exceptional culinary competition – "Duel of Generations: Gastro AT Cup".
The event, held on the occasion of University Day, brought together students, professors and employees of the institution in a confrontation aimed at celebrating talent, creativity and passion for the gastronomic art.

Nine teams competed in the preparation of exquisite dishes, testing not only their technical skills, but also their ingenuity and ability to impress the jury's demands. The jury was chaired by Lady Chef Cornelia Ghișoi, a prestigious name in the culinary and academic fields, and an emblematic figure for generations of students. Alongside her were pastry chef Georgian Tufă, a valuable collaborator of the faculty, Dorian Lungu, co-creator of the Brașov brand Luado Chocolate, Laura Cismaru, vice-dean of the faculty and passionate about French pastry, and the Arta Albă Editorial Team.

In an atmosphere full of effervescence, flavor and emotion, the students triumphed this year, claiming the title of champions of "Duel of Generations" through innovative ideas and impeccable executions. The dishes, carefully arranged and enriched with captivating stories, delighted both the jury and the audience present, demonstrating the potential of the new generation of masters of taste.

"You can't just eat good food and that's it. You have to talk about it, and you have to talk about it with someone who understands good food and everything it means." Lady Chef Cornelia Ghișoi conveyed to the participants at the event, emphasizing the importance of competitions of this kind.
The impeccable organization of the event was ensured by a dedicated team of students, coordinated by vice-dean Carmen Bădărău and head of works Alina Maier, to whom the success of this edition is due.
