As a company concerned with environmental protection, 𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗠 is committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by developing new eco-friendly product lines. The equipment developed by the Italian company uses alternative refrigerants, such as R290 (propane) and R744 (CO2), which maintain the same thermodynamic performance, allow the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions and contribute to limiting the global temperature.
The new and modern premises where the company operates Gemma, with a total area of 8500 sqm, have a solar park with a total capacity of 260 kW, which increases the energy capacity needed for production and reduces electricity consumption.
Company representatives declare: "It is of fundamental importance to us to design and develop efficient refrigeration systems that bring energy savings. Such performances are achieved through the use of F gasless polyurethane insulation, high efficiency compressors, LED lights, electronic control panels that optimize the operation of equipment, glass with low emissivity thermal barrier layers and inert gases, as well as by using ecological packaging: wooden crates and cardboard boxes, 100% recyclable. In addition, the plastic used as part of the appliances (such as gaskets, PVC door profiles) is recyclable.
Reduction of gas emissions
The awareness campaign of the Italian company GEMM, which aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere, does not stop here!
To actively contribute to limiting the global temperature of the planet, GEMM creates the elegant SPACE embossed sided refrigerators, which use environmentally friendly refrigerant gases.
In addition to reducing the impact on the environment, these cabinets allow great economic savings thanks to their features, such as:
– 95 mm insulation to minimize heat loss;
– XPN Gas R600a, XPB Gas R290 for low environmental impact and high performance;
– high efficiency compressors;
– the new digital control that allows low energy consumption;
