• Sigep 2024, the international exhibition dedicated to the pastry, bakery, confectionery, chocolate, gelato and coffee industry, will take place from January 20 to 24, at Expo Center Rimini, Italy.
As every year, Sigep will represent the meeting place for professionals in the field, who will be able to discover cutting-edge equipment and technologies, as well as news, innovations and trends in the world of desserts, coffee, raw materials and ingredients, packaging and services.
During the five days, the 45th edition of the event will host visitors and exhibitors from all over the world and will represent a unique opportunity for professionals to discuss the new scenarios for the represented sector, but also the opportunity for networking, development of to new relationships and partnerships, as well as to share unique experiences.
More than 178.000 visitors from 155 countries and more than 1.000 exhibitors from 30 countries are expected to attend.
From this edition of Sigep, there will also be competitions, discussions and workshops supported by industry experts, an opportunity for participants to enrich their skills and be aware of the latest trends.
A special event
Thematic arenas, seven in number, offer ample space for the championships in which the best ice cream makers, pastry chefs, baristas and bakers from all over the world will compete.
Among the competitions that will be held, we mention: GELATO WORLD CUP, in its tenth edition, SIGEP GELATO D'ORO, THE WORLD JUNIOR PASTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS, THE ITALIAN JUNIOR / SENIOR PASTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS, ITALIAN BARISTA CHAMPIONSHIPS, ITALIAN FINAL PANETTONE WORLD CUP.
And in the space set up in the central hall, renowned industry experts and opinion leaders will present their vision of the future of the dessert and coffee industry: a program full of debates, workshops and meetings summarizing the global outlook for the sector Out of Home. A unique opportunity to discover new successful business models and revolutionary formats that inspire.
