Moulins Soufflet and Omas Industries: Partnership for innovation and sustainability

• Omas Industries is excited to announce the release of a new video dedicated to the revolutionary Corbeil-Essonnes project, made for Moulins Soufflet.

The video, available now on the company's LinkedIn page, reveals the story of a successful collaboration that is redefining standards in the milling industry through advanced technology and sustainability.

The project has completely transformed the Corbeil-Essonnes mill, with a centuries-old history, in a modern and high-performance facility, capable of producing high-quality flours such as T38 – a very white and extra-fine flour for niche markets. The new mill, built over five floors and using gravity to optimize energy consumption, includes two independent grinding lines of 450 tons per day each, offering tremendous flexibility in production.

The state-of-the-art technology provided by Omas, including the innovative KERS system, has enabled a 30% reduction in energy consumption and CO2 emissions, demonstrating the two companies' joint commitment to a more sustainable future.

In the video, François-Xavier Lecointre, director of the Moulins Soufflet factory, and Xavier Bourbon, president of Cabinet Bourbon, emphasize the importance of the close collaboration with Omas and the positive impact of the technology implemented. "The performances achieved and the energy savings promised by Omas have been fully realized", says Lecointre.

The project also stands out for the integration of the 4.0 technology concept, which allows for centralized control and automatic process adjustments, offering flexibility to meet the demands of both industrial customers and artisan bakers.

This partnership is more than a technological achievement – it's proof that sustainability and innovation can go hand in hand in the milling industry.
