Bakeronline.ro, the first platform in Romania that offers the opportunity for small and medium-sized businesses in the bakery, confectionery and chocolate industries to go online for FREE
The Bakeronline.ro platform offers the opportunity for small and medium-sized businesses in the bakery, confectionery, pastry and chocolate industry to go online for FREE - in just 72 hours - and thus reach their consumers in a professional way, respecting the rules of physical distancing .
This project meets the needs of manufacturers in the profile industry, whose shops or laboratories have been closed or have restricted their activity due to the pandemic. The bakery-pastry and confectionery industry is very poorly digitized, although it provides essential products for consumers around the world.
Puratos Romania, one of the most important global players in the production of raw materials for the bakery, pastry and confectionery industry, launches for the first time in Romania, the virtual platform www.bakeronline.ro, following a successful model from Belgium.
What producers earn

• Patibona – a family business with a 20-year tradition, a confectionery chain from Craiova, with products made with great care and dedication by passionate confectioners.
What the end customer gains
This approach is also new for consumers who are not used to the idea of buying bread, chocolate or cookies online, given that the choice of these products is an extremely emotional one. The advantage of going online for the final consumer is the fact that they have access to more information about the products they order - they can see the entire offer and variety "exposed" online, they can learn more information from the description of each product, they can learn about the allergens in composition and may be more receptive to the promotions offered by each manufacturer. At the end, they have the option to pay online and choose whether to pick up their order or opt for home delivery.
