• "Pastry Chef of the Year" - Ana Consulea becomes the first Elle & Vire Professional Brand Ambassador in Romania
Pastry Chef Ana Consulea joins the team of Elle & Vire Professionnel ambassadors, along with big names in international confectionery and gastronomy. The title represents a recognition of the confectioner's contribution to revolutionizing Romanian confectionery in recent years, as well as to educating a new generation of professionals in the confectionery industry. Ana Consulea is the first Romanian confectioner with this status, selected by Elle & Vire Professionnel, one of the most important producers of premium dairy products intended for professionals, of French origin, present in over 120 countries.
Ana Consulea, a multi-awarded confectioner
Ana Consulea studied confectionery at the Confectionery School in Montbeliard, and since returning to the country in 2012, she has contributed to the development of Romanian confectionery. She is a confectioner and entrepreneur, founder of the brasserie-confectionery Zexe Braserie, launched in 2016 out of the desire to restore the taste of Romanian confectionery, and of the gelateria Zelato, a business that appeared on the market in the summer of 2020. Ana Consulea is a multi-award winning confectioner. In 2019, he received the title "Pastry Chef of the Year", from the prestigious yellow guide Gault & Millau, and in 2017, 2018 and 2019, it was designated "The best Pastry Chef in Romania", at the Horeca Awards Gala. His appointment as Elle & Vire Professionnel ambassador is, in fact, a recognition of the sustained efforts to place Romanian confectionery on the global confectionery map, alongside big names and countries, such as France, Italy, Spain.

Important names in the Brand Ambassadors program
The ambassador program is one of the initiatives of the Elle & Vire Professionnel brand to create a global community of Chefs to contribute to raising awareness and education towards quality among professionals in the food sector, especially in confectionery and pastry. Also, this program is created and supported by the Maison de l'Excellence Savencia, led by two executive chefs Nicolas Boussin and Sébastien Faré.
The Brand Ambassadors program includes 25 internationally renowned Pastry Chefs with extensive experience in the industry, including French chefs Frédéric Cassel, Yann Brys (best artisan pastry chef in France – Meilleur Ouvrier de France), Jean-Baptiste Lavergne Morazzani (who at 23 received a Michelin star), and Étienne Leroy, winner of the World Pastry Championship, and the program is constantly developing.
