The Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism (MEAT) has obtained all the approvals related to the financing of Measure 2 - Grants for working capital and will unlock the third installment of payments from this state aid scheme from EU funds. Their value is 241 million euros, according to the official statement sent today, July 23, 2021. The Minister of Economy, Claudiu Năsui, signed yesterday the order on the procedure that unblocks the payments, which was published on Thursday, July 22 in Official.
According to the official release, MEAT will start sending the contracts to the beneficiaries from today.
MEAT suggests the beneficiaries to sign the financing contracts in a timely manner, reminding that the deadline for signing the financing contract is 20 days from the date of receipt of the contract in the computer application, but no later than December 15, 2021. If the contracts are signed by the beneficiaries as soon as possible, the first payments will be made from the middle of next week. The order of payments is made according to the identification numbers in the Single Electronic Register.
By the normative act (OMEAT no. 1146/2021) the following changes are made to the effective settlement procedure:
- The measure is valid until December 31, 2021
- Payments under the measure will be made by 31 December 2023
- The total allocated budget is 1.067.095.588 euros, and the exchange rate is 1 euro = 4,8395 lei, reference rate for September 2020.
