On December 3rd, the "Good Taste Hour" contest announced its winners in an online ceremony on the ZOOM platform. 22 products were entered in the competition, organized in several categories. One of these is called "Bakery and Pastries". Here, Doctor Cookie – manufacturer of cookies, cakes and other types of confectionery won the award in the category of cookies stars with raspberry jam and glaze, marketed under the brand Secretul Bunicii. The Special Jury Prize was awarded to the bakery Artisan bread - to Spelled bread with plums and walnutsand IBA Bucharest won the Health award with the product cookies with cocoa, without sugar.
The awards won by each individual brand represent yet another confirmation of the quality of the products, attested by a competent jury. The prize consists of the use of the "Gustul Ales" logo on packaging (a yellow dot) and helps differentiate it from other similar products. In addition, packaging that has this logo attracts the attention of consumers on the shelf.
All participating products enjoy wide visibility during the competition, being promoted in the press and social media. After the awards are announced, the organizers help the winners to properly market the trophy reception, to further strengthen their position in the market. The winners of the previous editions noted an increase in sales, as a result of the promotion carried out in the campaign before and after the presentation of the prizes, but mainly due to the placement of the logo on their packaging.
About the contest "Hour of good taste"
RO.aliment awards products that can prove that they are manufactured in Romania and that meet a series of criteria established by the competition jury (taste, smell, appearance, technical and nutritional characteristics, marketing presentation for the consumer, etc.). "Ora de bon gust" is a unique competition in Romania, which aims to test products manufactured in the country by a jury with expertise in the field. The judging committee of this edition also included Daniela Voica - Vice President of ROMPAN, together with Gabriela Mohan - Research Engineer Research Center IBA.
