FrieslandCampina Romania launches its first dual professional education program, reports Wall Street.
Eligible for the program are XNUMXth grade students interested in learning technical and practical skills in the field of dairy production.
The FrieslandCampina Dual School is aimed at students enrolled in state vocational schools, interested in majoring in Maintenance Technician or Production Operator. Students will benefit from both a state scholarship and a private scholarship. They will do internships in the real work environment offered by the Napolact factories in Cluj and Mureș, according to a specific algorithm of the dual education system.
The proportion of practical and theoretical training hours in each year of study there are: 80% theory hours and 20% practice hours, in the first year; 50% theory hours and 50% practice hours, in the second year; 45% theory hours and 55% practice hours in the third year of study.
After completing the FrieslandCampina Dual School program, the best student receives a scholarship to a specialized college and a job within the company. Also, all graduates of the dual school who opt for higher specialized studies can access professional development programs paid for by FrieslandCampina Romania and a job in the company.
Other benefits offered to students include free transportation, subject to an internally set cap, and free medical tests.
The dual education system is enrolled in the free state system, being supported by the Ministry of National Education and can be an example for other companies in the food industry that are facing an acute crisis of specialized labor.
