• Euronext grain prices valid at the close of trading on 26.05.2022/XNUMX/XNUMX on the Paris Stock Exchange.
Euronext grain prices, valid on 26.05.2022/XNUMX/XNUMX, are still influenced by the fear of a possible global food crisis and the continuation of the Russian-Ukrainian armed conflict. The difficult situation created at the global level is due to the impossibility of Ukrainian grain exports via the Black Sea.
Russia is considering the possibility of unlocking Ukraine's access to the Black Sea, making this conditional on the lifting of the economic sanctions imposed by the international community on the Russian side. Analysts believe, however, that this approach will not influence the increased volatility on the grain market in the immediate future.

Ukrainian cereals
According to existing data, Ukraine has more than 22 million grains in stock, out of the amount that should have been exported. The new harvest will be added to these figures, even if it will not reach the level of previous years. Ukrainian grain stocks, already in excess, will increase again, and this in conditions where, at the global level, we are facing a production deficit.
Cereals globally
The price of wheat registered an increase on Euronext stock exchange after Egypt announced it would accept wheat with 14% moisture, up from the previously accepted 13%.
Turkey purchased 175.000 tons of corn.
With a requirement of 7 million tons of wheat for the coming season, Iran has signed an agreement with Russia for Russia to supply 5 million tons of the total requirement.
The price of canola is rising again after the declines of the last few days.
