Chocolate Saga, the 6th edition, brings indulgence to Cluj-Napoca

• Cluj-Napoca is preparing to become the capital of sweets lovers, with the arrival of the most delicious event dedicated to the art of chocolate making: Chocolate Saga, the only festival dedicated to chocolate in Romania, already in its 6th edition.

Between April 11-13, 2025, the "Simion Bărnuțiu" Central Park will host, in Chios, a celebration full of flavors, workshops and demonstrations that will delight both the taste buds and the imagination of visitors.

The festival promises an unforgettable experience, with activities for all ages. Master chocolatiers will offer captivating demonstrations, transforming cocoa into exceptional edible creations. The public will have the opportunity to observe the process of modeling chocolate bunnies and making Easter eggs, characterized by complex layers and meticulous details.

Participants will have the opportunity to admire the chocolatiers' craft and participate in interactive workshops. From making their own truffles or chocolate bars to decorating sweet figurines, visitors will leave not only with beautiful memories, but also with their own creations.

In addition to chocolate, the festival's offerings include ice cream, artisanal sweets and other delights that perfectly complement the chocolate universe. The event is designed to be a family experience, and children under 10 and people with disabilities benefit from free access.

Anisia Todor, representative Choco van Nis – Artisan Chocolate, will present sophisticated truffles, called "Cookie Capsule", which bring together the distinctive flavors of Griliaș, Rigo Jancsi, Doboș and Cremeș desserts. It will also introduce chocolate bars with matcha and figs, a unique combination.

Adriana Coța, a renowned specialist from Cluj, will impress with pralines, truffles and chocolate eggs, highlighting her mastery. And Kinga Dicoi, from Ingres – Handmade Chocolate, will bring to the fore chocolate eggs made with special attention to detail.

Bianca Catana, from Five Graces, will make elegant chocolate bunnies and pistachio hearts, and Maria Bota, from Pralina Confectionery, will offer a live demonstration of decorating a cake for children.

The event will also include a wine and chocolate pairing session, hosted by sommelier Ionel Bârsan from The Sâmburești Domains House, which will provide recommendations on the optimal pairing between wines and various types of chocolate.

Chocolate Saga will take place according to the following schedule: Friday, April 11, between 12:00 and 20:00, Saturday, April 12, from 10:00 to 20:00, and Sunday, April 13, between 10:00 and 18:00.
