ESE – Informative Webinar – “Labeling. Safety. Ethics" is organized annually by RO. food in collaboration with the relevant authorities and associations. The information provides answers to questions that always arise as a result of legislative changes. The informative seminar has reached its XNUMXth edition and comes in support of food and supplement producers in Romania.

ESE – Informative Webinar "Labeling. Safety. Ethics" will take place in the virtual environment, for four days, between November 2 and 5, 2021. The first day, November 2, between 10:00 a.m. and 15:00 p.m., the webinar dedicated to the food industry takes place. There will be presentations by labeling, safety and ethics specialists in the field.
On November 3, between 10:00 and 13:00, experts in labeling and ethics will give presentations to manufacturers of dietary supplements.
On November 4, between 10:00 and 13:00, the food labeling course will take place - "Secrets of labelling", given by Cristian Popa. On the last day, he will present, in the same time slot, the online course on food supplement labeling.

Cristian Popa, labeling consultant, author of the book "Food labeling by examples", designed this course structured in four parts: theory, labeling rules, practical examples and questions & answers. The course will teach participants how to make a label without mistakes, how to harmonize the product with all the laws in force (national and European). Other topics covered are clean label and how to translate it correctly into a label, how to avoid fines and removing goods from supermarket shelves. Last but not least, participants have the opportunity to learn how to increase their sales using certain tricks, with a label that respects the legal provisions in force.

The program confirmed for the moment includes: Cesare Varallo - "Revision of the EU Commission's regulations on the labeling of food products"; Dana Pop - "Nutri-Score, between a rock and a hard place". "Ethics in advertising" will be addressed by Laura Frunzeti, and Gerald Filip Flintoacă will speak about "Deceptive tricks used in communication". A unique presentation will be given by Tatiana Onisei on "Hemp-based food products and national regulations regarding their cannabinoid content".
