LUCA Tradiție, the largest pastry chain in Romania, has introduced a strictly limited edition Easter cozonac to its offer, available at a price of 39,99 lei. The product promises to bring all the richness of traditional taste to the holiday table: a fluffy, well-risen dough, perfectly browned on the surface and aromatic, with a generous core filled with walnuts in abundance.
Founded in 2010 by entrepreneurs George Adragăi and Mircea Cosmin Postole, LUCA brand has grown rapidly, becoming a symbol of affordable quality in the art of Romanian pastry. Initially conceived as a modern bagel shop, the chain has constantly evolved, while preserving the essence of classic recipes and adapting them to the contemporary needs of consumers.
In 2023, George Adragăi became the sole shareholder, continuing to guide the brand towards excellence, with an emphasis on quality ingredients and respect for local culinary traditions. Today, LUCA counts dozens of locations across the country and is recognized for the innovations that make pastries true daily experiences, not just occasional ones.
The launch of the Easter cake comes as a natural continuation of the brand's philosophy: to offer joy and tradition without putting pressure on families' budgets. LUCA representatives told the press: "Introducing the cozonac to the LUCA menu is a decision that starts, as always, from the needs of our customers, whom we want to always stay close to. Moreover, taking into account the difficult economic context, the LUCA cozonac is available in any location in the country at a price that every Romanian can afford - 39,99 lei. Thus, according to tradition, every family can enjoy a tasty, well-browned and aromatic cozonac, with a fluffy core with lots of walnuts."
The cake is available exclusively from March 27 to April 11, 2026, both in all LUCA points of sale in the country, and by ordering with pickup at number 5822 or through partner delivery platforms.
The LUCA Tradiție gesture joins other recent initiatives of the brand – such as reducing the price of pretzels to 1,99 lei – demonstrating a constant attention to current economic realities, without compromising the standards of taste and craftsmanship.
