• The new Guinness record for the world's largest pizza has been set.
When the Pizza Hut company decided to bring back to its product portfolio the so-called "Big New Yorker" pizza - a cheese and pepperoni delight, with slices designed to be folded to eat and enjoy on the go, in the true "manhattan style" – found a novel way to celebrate the event.
Thus, together with the YouTube star airrack (a.k.a. Eric Decker) went to the Los Angeles Convention Center, where the space was large enough to accommodate a 1.299,71 square meter pizza, a new Guinness World Record for the world's largest pizza.

Work began on the gigantic pizza on Wednesday 18.01.2023, and on Friday, 20.01.2023, the Pizza Hut company already transmits NOTICE official: Guinness representatives invited to the event confirm that it is indeed the world's largest pizza!
Spectacular event
Pizza Hut's press release details how the difficult task was completed. First the dough layers were placed, then the tomato sauce was added, followed by the toppings. After everything was combined, the epic creation was baked piece by piece using a baking device specially created for the occasion.

6.193 kilograms of dough, 2.309 kilograms of tomato sauce, more than 3.990 kilograms of cheese and approximately 630.000 slices of pepperoni were used to make the enormous pizza. And that's not all! The CEO of Pizza Hut, David Graves, told Reuters that immediately after the approval of the record by Guinness representatives, the 68.000 slices of pizza will be donated to the poor in Los Angeles.
The previous record for the world's largest pizza was set in 2012 by a group of Italian chefs. Their pizza, named Ottavia, was gluten-free and measured 1.261,65 square feet.
