• The Paris grain exchange for June 6, 2022 records significant price increases in both wheat and rapeseed, as well as corn.
The Paris grain exchange records price increases for wheat, rapeseed and corn for June 6, 2022 transactions. If the previous days, prices were in a slight decline, at the close of the Paris Stock Exchange on June 6, 2022, the contracts for the new harvest increased by almost 20 euros per ton.
Matif wheat contracted on the Paris Stock Exchange on June 6, increased by 19 euros, for contracts with delivery in September, the average price being 397,50 euros/ton. For December deliveries, the contracted wheat had a price of up to 392 euros/ton, increased by 18,75 euros/ton.
Matif corn had a price increase of 15,75 euros/ton, for contracts with delivery in August, up to 342,25 euros/ton. The price of corn from the 2022 harvest, with delivery in November, was traded on the Stock Exchange Euronext with 339,50 euros/ton, 17 euros/ton more than the previous week.
Rapita Matif saw the largest price increases from the previous week. Thus, for August contracts, it reached 804,50 euros/ton, 28,75 euros/ton more than at the end of the previous week. For rape with delivery in November, the price increased by 28,50 euros/ton, reaching 799,25 euros/ton.
