AFIR has published for consultation the Applicant's Guide related to Intervention DR-23

• The Agency for Financing Rural Investments (AFIR) has published in public consultation the Applicant's Guide for investments for the processing and marketing of agricultural products in order to obtain food products and processed products, other than those provided for in Annex 1 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, with financing through DR-23 intervention from the 2023-2027 Strategic Plan.

According to AFIR's press release, the public debate for this document is for 10 calendar days from the date of publication on the website, 21.06.2024. Thus, all those interested can submit proposals or observations regarding Applicant Guide subject to public debate until July 2, 2024 on e-mail addresses consultare@afir.ro or relatii.publice@afir.ro, as well as the address pndr@madr.ro.

The guide states the maximum ceiling of 65% of the total expenses eligible for the non-reimbursable financing granted to a project and which cannot exceed 10 million for the investments of foundation in the bakery sector and no more than 3 million euros for other types of investments.

Among the types of investments that can be financed through the DR-23 intervention, we mention: product manufacturing dairy products, manufacturing ice cream and of sorbet, the manufacture the breadthe cakes and fresh products of pastry, manufacturing macaroni, cutlets, couscous and other similar flour products. At the same time, the manufacture of cocoa products is eligible for support, a chocolate and sugar products, manufacturing condiments and ingredients or manufacturing DRINKS, such as beer.
