• Brașov, March 11, 2026 – Nova Pan, in partnership with PreGel, hosted yesterday, March 10, 2026, at its headquarters in Brașov in the specially arranged space, Baking Show, a new intensive practical course dedicated to artisanal gelato.
Under the title "The Basics of Artisanal Gelato", the one-day event brought together HoReCa professionals and entrepreneurs passionate about premium ice cream, giving them the opportunity to delve deeper into the essential techniques of authentic Italian gelato, with a focus on quality, balance and innovation.
The course was organized by Nova Pan, a leader in equipment, solutions and consumables for professional bakeries, pastry shops and confectioneries in Romania, in strategic partnership with PreGel Italy, one of the world leaders in the production of premium ingredients for artisanal gelato and was supported by the master gelato maker Alessandro Romeo, an internationally recognized expert, owner of several gelaterias in Verona and a long-time collaborator of PreGel since 2015. Under his guidance, participants benefited from top know-how, combined with the professional equipment provided by Baking Show and the high-quality ingredients provided by PreGel.

The program included practical demonstrations and active participation in the preparation of the 12 distinct flavors, a balanced selection that combined Italian tradition with contemporary innovations and options adapted to current trends (including zero sugar variants): Fior di Latte, Pistachio Verde Primavera, Golden Vanilla, Popcorn, Strawberries, Bananas, Piedmont Hazelnuts, Forest Fruit Sorbetto, Zero Sugar Passion Fruit, Zero Cioconero, Fruit Yogurt, Salted Caramel.
Each flavor was created step by step, from precise ingredient dosing, recipe balance calculation (solids, sugars, fats), base maturation, to the freezing, extraction and optimal serving process. The focus was on the creamy texture specific to artisanal gelato, on intense natural flavors and on practical solutions for efficient and sustainable production.
