• These days, at ROMEXPO Bucharest, the 2025 edition of INDAGRA & INDAGRA FOOD is taking place, the most important platform dedicated to innovation in the agricultural and food sector in Romania.
Held between October 29 and November 2, the event brings together 420 exhibiting companies from 20 countries, on an exhibition area of over 27.869 sqm, with a degree of internationalization of 28%. Under the concept "Innovation and tradition, cultivated with passion for the future", INDAGRA 2025 redefines itself as an integrated hub for cross-sector dialogue, knowledge transfer and accelerating progress in the agri-food sector. The event brings together farmers, processors, technology companies, universities, authorities and professional organizations, with a focus on practical results, investments and authentic partnerships.
A thematic structure oriented towards efficiency and sustainability
INDAGRA covers key areas such as agricultural machinery and tools, smart irrigation systems, greenhouses and solariums, premium professional seeds, innovative solutions for viticulture, agricultural transport, sustainable fertilizers, agricultural scales, animal husbandry, protective equipment, solar panels for agriculture and ornamental trees or flowers. The INDAGRA FOOD part includes specialized platforms: INDAGRA BAKERY, INDAGRA DAIRY, INDAGRA DRINKS, INDAGRA PLANT-BASED and INDAGRA ARTISANAL & LOCAL FOODS, with a focus on processing technologies, packaging, cold chain and ingredients for operational efficiency.
A novelty of the edition is the solid B2B component, representing 60% of visitors, dedicated to agricultural producers, suppliers of inputs and technologies, start-upagri-tech companies, investors and consultants. This facilitates exchanges of expertise, agricultural policies and partnerships public-privateThe B2G component (20%) involves institutional representatives, and the B2C (20%) offers the general public interactive experiences, from the passion for gardening and sustainable agriculture to natural products and agricultural education.
Rich program of conferences, demonstrations and competitions
Highlights of the program include the AGROVISION conference – “Innovation, resilience and sustainability in Romanian agriculture”, moderated by Agro TV, and the debate "Romanian product - identity, competitiveness and opportunities in the agri-food chain"Visitors can watch live demonstrations outdoors with state-of-the-art agricultural machinery and indoors with technologies for the food industry.
Culinary events attract attention: the 2025 International Pizza Championship, with an elite jury (Roxana Blenche, Gina Bradea, Nicola Demo, Francis Tolu), presented by Horia Manea; live shows with the team "Knife-wielding bosses" (Mihai Dragomir and Claudiu Gherguț, winners of recent seasons); and workshops held by ILBAH Ateliers trainers, from refined desserts by Alexandra Mustață to vegan menus by Sorina Culiță.
The livestock area impresses with live specimens – purebred cows, buffaloes, sheep, birds (chickens, pigeons, ducks, parrots, canaries, peacocks, ostriches, turkeys, guinea fowl, quails), rabbits and donkeys – ideal for investment evaluations. The INDAGRA ARTISANAL & LOCAL FOODS sector promotes local producers, with an emphasis on traceability and B2B listing (retail, HoReCa, distribution).
Distinctive features include two live demonstration areas (tech field with drones, robots and intelligent monitoring; livestock demo for digital solutions in animal nutrition), Networking HUB with conference stage, ROMEXPO SmartApp for personalized agenda and matchmaking, as well as an educational farm with themed trails for families and schools.
