• The demonstration event dedicated to artisanal gelato, organized by Nova Pan in partnership with Frigomat, Nemox, Ciam and PreGel, took place on March 5, 2025, bringing together confectionery and gelato professionals in a practical and innovative training session.
During the day, Master Gelato Maker Giampiero Mele offered participants a detailed introduction to the art of artisanal ice cream, covering both theoretical aspects and practical production demonstrations. The meeting took place in the space specially created for such events, Baking Show providing an optimal setting for learning, making and tasting innovative recipes.

Key moments of the event:
• Advanced preparation techniques – Participants discovered modern methods of producing ice cream based on milk and water, using hot and cold-prepared ingredients.
• Live demonstrations – Making 12 ice cream varieties, using PreGel raw materials for the ice cream industry and state-of-the-art Frigomat, Nemox and Ciam equipment.
• Tasting and Q&A session – Applied discussions about making, decorating, preserving and displaying products in ice cream shop windows.
• Networking opportunities – The event facilitated the exchange of experience between professionals and access to cutting-edge technological solutions.

Among the guests were also representatives of partner companies such as Simone Armani (Ciam), Mariana Streltov and Demeter Barn (PreGel), which, together with professionals Nova Pan, provided valuable information about the innovative equipment and ingredients used in the demonstrations and necessary for a business in the gelato industry.
In addition, participants benefited from exclusive offers, such as value vouchers for purchases in the physical store and online Confectioner Isteț and discounts on Frigomat equipment and Ciam display cases.

Gelato Experience also represented the opportunity to take a new step in the promising collaboration between Nova Pan and the Faculty of Food and Tourism of Transilvania University of Brașov. In this context, a group of students, accompanied by teachers, were present at the demonstrations, having the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the techniques and ingredients used in artisanal gelato.
The event proved to be a real success, confirming the growing interest in the development of the artisanal gelato sector in Romania. Nova Pan, together with its partners, aims to continue the series of demonstrations and trainings dedicated to innovation in the fields of bakery, pastry, confectionery, chocolate and gelato.
