• For the fourth consecutive year, the Săvârșin Royal Domain becomes, on April 25 and 26, the living scene of a Romanian village of the past.
The Suflet de România Festival brings together, in a natural setting of extraordinary beauty, small local producers, skilled craftsmen, folk dances and exceptional concerts, creating an authentic experience dedicated to traditional values and community.
The event officially opens on Saturday, at 12:00, after a special tour of the fair by Her Majesty Margareta, Custodian of the Crown of Romania, accompanied by His Royal Highness Radu, Prince Consort of Romania. Along with the members of the Royal Family, central and local officials will be present, as well as representatives of the main partner, Profi. The Royal House thus supports, through its presence, the preservation and promotion of Romanian cultural identity, a role it has consistently fulfilled in recent years in Săvârsin.
The festival brings back to life the atmosphere of the traditional village through carefully designed areas: Ulița Copiilor, Târgul Satului, Hanul Târgoveștilor and Drumul Artizanilor. Here, visitors can meet artisans demonstrating ancient crafts, taste authentic products made by small local producers and witness folk dance performances and memorable concerts. Confirmed artists include Theo Rose, Damian Drăghici & Brothers, Nicolae Furdui Iancu, Nicoleta Voica, David Ciente, Maria Chivu and the Jianca Group. The first day also includes a special live podcast, made with writer Radu Paraschivescu and journalist Cătălin Striblea.

Profi, a strategic partner of the festival, continues a tradition of supporting local communities. Through the Local Goodies Rack program and the platform Via-Profi.ro, the network offers small artisan producers not only visibility in stores, but also a national promotion platform. As part of the Ahold Delhaize group, Profi is one of the most important private employers in Romania and is actively involved in seven pillars of social responsibility – culture, education, health, environment, sports, innovation and community – supporting numerous non-governmental organizations present at the festival.
The event is designed for the whole family. Children benefit from dedicated workshops and surprises, and free drinking water points are available throughout the two days. Admission is free, the program runs between 12:00 and 19:30, and access is exclusively through the gate on DC74, on Valea Troașului.
The Suflet de România Festival is not just a cultural event, but an invitation to reconnect with good taste, authentic crafts and the spirit of the Romanian village, in a place full of history and natural beauty. Full details are available on the official festival website Soul of Romania.
